Car Air Conditioning FAQS

Drouin Auto Care are well placed to take care all of your Vehicle Air Conditioning Re-gas, Servicing, Repair and Inspection needs

Your car air conditioner system uses refrigerant to extract the excess heat from the air in the interior of the vehicle outside, leaving only cooled or 'conditioned' air to be recirculated. It is important that the rubber seals are regularly scrutinised for any signs of leaks or problems which may be contributing to a loss of refrigerant.

To run in optimum condition the refrigerant in your Automotive Air Conditioner should ideally be refilled completely within four years of the manufacture date and every two to three years after that.

Your vehicle should be taken to a qualified workshop such as Drouin Auto Care (AU44218) regularly to ensure the air conditioner system continues performing as it should as well as having the mechanics advise you on the condition of the entire car.

Repco Authorised Service mechanics perform a 65 point Vehicle Inspection with every service and are able to alert you to any items that may need replacing in the near future or those that are already worn beyond repair.

Drouin Auto Care (AU44218) care about the environment and have Arctick Authorisation to reliably and responsibly conduct automotive air conditioning service in and around Drouin and the surrounding areas.
